Kuro blinked, wiping some foam out of his eyes.He was about to tell them his story, when he noticed how dark it was. 'Time to raid...,' he thought to himself. He got up grinning. "Well, guys, I gotta go back to my current hideout and get my stuff. I'll be back later.Mel, meet me back here, later,k?" Without waiting for an answer, he took off, heading back to the tunnels.'First I'll get my stuff and hide it in the tunnels, and then I'll raid the storage I discovered....'

Melissa watched Kuro leave, and shook her head. "I'm going to let you clean that up." She mumbled, hitting Bam's red head with a cushion from the sofa. "Why are you such a hyper little odd ball?!" She cried, watching him, before dropping off the sofa and joining him on the floor. "I won't tell no one you did that," Melissa's face grew into a shit-eating grin, and she ran off. Bouncing up into the air, grabbing another fizzy drink and instead of a mint, just shook it like crazy. Making a rude hand gesture with her rapidly moving arm at the same time, she aggravated the sparkling drink within the can. Then, cracking the top, she aimed at Brandon and let the fizz foam.

Bam also watched Kuro and winced at Melissa hitting his head with the cushion. He didn't know why he was so hyper! For all he knew, it was just a behavioural disorder... But these thoughts didn't linger for long as he found himself getting distracted by her spraying her can at him. He laughed softly and shook his head at her.
"Evil... Now I gots t'wash my hair..." He pulled the most camp expression he could before crawling over to Melissa and hugging her legs. He then giggled and curled up while hugging her legs. "Mwa hahaha." He giggled and now attempted to push her legs out from under her.

With her legs now clamped in Bam's grip. Melissa began squirming. Trying to get out of his arms as slyly as possible. Unfortunately, Melissa was not a very sly person, and began to topple. With a final scream and wiggle, she fell. Her legs still trapped as the blonde landed on her bum. "You're a little git!" She cried, though she was well aware that the red haired pain knew this from the previous accounts of her telling him. Hitting his red, somewhat sticky hair, she attempted getting up.

Bam scrambled to lie on her and curled up. He grinned at her and wriggled.
"Yer comfy." He told her, wriggled some more and put his head on her chest with a small, though cheeky, grin. He then looked at her and giggled. "An' yer now my bed." He nodded and went back to being curled up, trying to act innocent and cute, because it was a hobby of his, to attempt to act as something that he wasn't and could never be.
Curling up a little more, Bam wriggled and closed his ears, just to see if he would actually get away with doing this... Only one way to find out...

(Closed his ears?)
Melissa looked down at the creature that had coiled up on top of her. The fact that he'd stuck his head on her chest was a little embarrassing too. So she was somewhat glad that there wasn't anyone else in the center. At least, that was what she hoped. The pair of them weren't all that observant.
Attempting to drag herself away and giving up, eventually. She twiddled Bam's hair around her fingers. "You know, they say that red haired boys that sleep on blonde haired girls get their hair shaved off while they rest." She mumbled. Of course, it was a lie and no one really said that. Except her. Who said it a few seconds ago..

((I always get ears and eyes mixed up when I'm typing. damnit!))
"You shave my hair I'll shave yours, Sweets..." Bam mumbled, curling up a little tighter and scrunching his eyes up a little. He then looked at her face and grinned. "And then I'll re-dye my hair..." He told her and wriggled before going back to how he was before. He wasn't tired, it was more that he couldn't be bothered to get on the sofa, and so she was the most comfy thing in the room...
And no, it didn't even occur to him that there could be other people in the room... He was far too comfy to think about anything...

((I had a most entertaining mental image of his ears folding inwards like wings...))
Melissa snorted and stroked his hair. "Have you ever considered dying it another colour? Like maybe..Green? Or blue? Or ..Orange? You could do all three.." Melissa rooted through his hair, lifting, plaiting and pulling his hair lightly. Just generally exploring his head. Not exactly sure what she was looking for, though. Just whatever, she guessed. Maybe she'd find something like a tattoo on his skull. She wouldn't be most surprised.
"So what do you think of Kuro?" She then asked, ruffling and playing with his red hair. Then inspecting her palms, half expecting to find red pigments on her hands.

"Dyed it aqua last year... then I re-dyed it black and had my root aqua... That dye failed..." Bam mumbled, not moving due to the fact that she was playing with his hair... He liked people playing with his hair... It was mainly because his hair had always been played with by his fellow students when he was in school... Not that he officially left school...
He heard her question and shrugged. He didn't think anything, really, though, the boy did remind him a little of an over excited eleven year old at some points... But Bam could hardly speak... He was like an over excited six year old most of the time...
"He's a little... Oh tee tee..." He mumbled then shrugged. "But first impressions are never that important... They're jus' another reason for people t'judge... An' haters gunna hate, eh Sweets?" He asked, looked at her and grinned softly, almost seeming tired for probably the first time ever...

Melissa smiled down at Bam, nodding along with what he thought of Kuro. And what he thought of first impressions in general. Looking down at Brandon, she smirked. "We should dye your hair pink some time, for shits and giggles." She chuckled, plaiting his hair into long soft braids.
"Say, what did you think of me when we first met? I'll be honest, I don't really remember how we met.." She frowned, and with her good hand, continued to play with his hair while her other hand just lay on the ground near the two of them.

Bam looked at her and shook his head at her suggestion. He then heard her question. Bam did remember them meeting, because his feet hurt like fuck that day, and he also remembered why they hurt.
"I thought that you were a tad borin' at first... 'Cause you were all serious... Okay, having my darlin' gun pointed at cha prob'ly didn't help at all..." He said, shrugged and went back to whatever the hell he was doing before. He then poked her side and wriggled. After a moment, he giggled. "We look like we're siblin's..." He told her and looked at her again with a grin.

Melissa looked down at Brandon. "Yeah, the seriousness of a gun pointed at you would probably make you feel a little serious." She mumbled. "Then, my face ached from SMILE." As she placed her hands under her head, it began to come flooding back to her. She and Bam had met from bursting out of SMILE. Incredible timing on both off their parts. Considering people rarely escaped from the Institutes was enough on it's own. But that they had escaped together, at the same time, and had met without one or the other being somewhat dead was quite the achievement.
Melissa was quite proud.
Then again, anyone that burst out of SMILE was very proud of themselves.
Touching her hair lightly, she looked at the ceiling. "In our current position, I say it's more incest than any possible 'looking like siblings'." Melissa chuckled to herself lightly. "In general..." Melissa looked down at Brandon's head. "Eeh..yeah nah. Your nose is more upturned than mine." She shrugged. "Maybe they just dropped you in the delivery room." Mel teased, a smug grin on her face.

Bam listened to her and pouted at her words about his nose. He put a hand to his nose almost self consciously and pursed his lips.
"Yer adopted." He told her, grinned, and replaced his head where it was before. He didn't think about anything that had happened before, nor what they had been talking about before, and continued to touch his nose in a way that just told Melissa that he was a tad bit self conscious about such things... And he then squashed his nose down so that it was flat and looked at Melissa. "This is yer nose." He giggled and went back to lying how he was before, giggling hysterically as he did so.

Melissa watched Bam fiddle about with his nose. Perhaps it was a little bit silly to comment on his facial features. Rubbing his shoulder, Melissa smiled comfortingly. "I've got a monkey nose? You've got a pig nose." She snorted, obviously joking and hugged him tightly.
"Adopted? Hah. Alright then, little brother, I say you smell. If I'm older, then I can tell you what's what, and you can say nowt about it!" She grinned, evidently not being serious in it. It also felt odd to call him little, he was quite a bit taller than him. Not that she cared all the much.
Glad to see he was back to his giggly self, Melissa removed her limb from around his shoulders and leaned back on her arms. Her eyes gazed to the ceiling as she began to smell the fizz from the cola and various other drinks the two had spilled around. "Heh. You made a mess. Piggies make messies."

Bam twitched his nose and wriggled when she put her arms around him.
"Bullshit. Am an older brother, Jack argued with me all the time." He said bluntly and softly fake slapped Melissa with a mischievous grin before he heard her telling him that he made a mess and Bam pouted. "Nu-uh! Am not the only one who made a mess, big sis." He told her and poked her nose before giggling, wriggling, and repeating this for two more times.
Once he'd finished poking her nose, Bam pouted again, sighed, and replaced his head where it had been before. He then lifted his head, moved a little and licked up her cheek before grinning, curling up and laying his head back on her chest.

A pang of curiosity shot through the blonde woman as she looked down at the red haired teenager that chose to use her body as a pillow. "Who's Jack?" Melissa figured that 'Jack' was one of Brandon's relatives, but considering she'd never asked him about it, or really ever had a serious conversation with him she couldn't determine the figure. It was nice to see a sense of humanity in the boy though, too many times he seemed to not care. As if killing was an every day thing, and as if the death of hundreds was a joke. But occasionally, some niceness struck through. That was always nice to see.
Upon him continuing to speak, Melissa blinked out of her reverie and looked at him. "I know I make mess, at least I own up to it and eventually clean it. You've seen my house, 'tis a nice organized mess." Melissa insisted.
Poking his nose in return, the twenty year old hummed softly. "Were you born into SMILE?" The short woman asked, examining him. Had Bam been born into a world where the rulers were killers? Or had he grown up to be a teenager that enjoyed destroying things. Placing her hands down, she sighed and waited for his answer.

"Jack be my li'l bro." Bam told her, pursing his lips and beginning to draw on her stomach with one finger. He never told people things because he didn't like people to know... Too many times he'd been in arguments with people who knew more than Bam thought they should, and too many times they'd said hurtful things... Though, Bam was no better... If he knew enough, in an argument, then he would, and normally did, turn what he knew against the person...
He then heard her insistence on her cleanliness and Bam snorted.
"An organised mess?" He giggled and heard her question. Bam shook his head. "Am sixteen, Sweets, SMILE came about eighteen months ago..." He mumbled and began chewing on the collar of his jacket and then looked at her. "You think am insane..." He giggled and hugged her tightly with a grin.

Melissa continued to look down at the fire headed boy. "You no longer see him?" She mumbled, her voice quiet and soft as Melissa inspected the features of her friend. Though curious of his past and his family, she didn't want to press him, so if he chose to say no more, she would not force him. Melissa understood that it was tough for some people to talk about things.
With the soft tickling of her stomach, she listened to his snort and flicked the top of his skull. "Yes, an organized mess, I know there's stuff on like, every surface, but it's good enough for me. It's what I need." She smiled, nuzzling his hair as she hugged him, stroking his back slightly as they embraced.
"I don't think you're insane, I know you're insane." She rolled her eyes. Blinking, she rubbed the back of her head, breaking their friendly hug. "I..Knew that. What do you reckon it's like for those that are born into SMILE's era?" The blonde was somewhat nosy when it came to thinks like that. She could never quite place why.

Bam shook his head and shrugged.
"Never spoke much anyways..." He told her and grinned at her when she spoke. "You think this is messy," He began, indicating to the drink everywhere. "you should'a seen my bedroom before SMILE..." He giggled. "It looked like a hurricane hit it... Ma used t'never want t'go in there... Prob'ly thought that there was a snake in there or sum'p..." He giggled. "Would'a set it on Jack many times if I had..."
He then heard her words about his insanity and made a halo shape on the top of his head with one finger, as though drawing it into the air. He then shrugged at her question.
"Dunno..." He mumbled then twitched his nose. "I suppose that they jus' assume it's... Normal?"

Melissa looked down at Bam as he explained about his room. She snorted. "If I had gone into your room before SMILE, I think I may have felt a bit odd." Melissa ruffled his hair. "Why do I imagine you to be the sort of person to hide a snake in someone's box of cereal?" The blonde asked, holding her arms over Bam's shoulders instead, hugging him gently. Melissa didn't know why she was hugging the younger person, but she was allowed to. Unless he didn't want her to, in which case, he could stop her.
Blinking, Melissa returned to inspecting the ceiling. On his opinion about what people felt as they were born into SMILE, she shrugged. "Maybe there are other people out there, other rebellions dealing with this stuff too. Spreading SMILE's story, and recruiting children as Rebels.." Melissa chuckled to herself, surely the Rebellion they were in now wasn't the only one around?
