Born into a small family, Harley is the youngest of two children. She was born in Sicily but the family moved to England when she was three as her grandmother, Lenore, was ill. Lenore died when Harley was six. Harley always loved her grandmother and, when she died, Harley was the most effected after her mother, who had been Lenore's daughter.
Growing up, Harley and her brother barely argued while they were little, as they were so close age wise. As they grew up, though, they began to argue more. Especially when the pair reached their teen years.
These arguments didn't make the Carrero siblings like each other any less. In fact, after each argument, they seemed to get closer. Perhaps because they were telling each other what they thought. Of course, with an older brother, came the 'protective brother' stuff, and Logan was forever trying to protect Harley. When she was twelve and thirteen, it was helpful as people picked on her for her height, but as she got older, people began picking on her less. Especially when she turned around to one boy and punched him for picking on her non-stop for a week.
No teachers had seen, apparently, and so Harley never got into trouble for it. In truth, they'd all known, and all decided that the boy had deserved it. Her tutor actually old Harley that on her last day of that year, and Harley had burst out laughing.
After leaving school, Harley had ended up looking for work. A small number of years passed Harley by, and she remained unemployed. Her mother had often speculated that it was because she'd hit the boy, though Logan had said that they wouldn't put that into her reference.
When SMILE took over, Harley had decided that she wouldn't be in SMILE, and she wouldn't be in the Rebellion. She didn't want to get involved. She wanted to be left alone. A month or so after she decided this, Brandon Napier met her and attempted to get her into the Rebellion. Harley had declined and Brandon had shrugged before running away, as SMILE were chasing him at that point...
Still remaining a Citizen, Harley continues to not actually do a job, which Logan continuously nags her about, and prefers to take long, smiling walks instead... In case SMILE should see her.[/ul][/size][/blockquote]
