Bam was running. It wasn't unusual to find Bam running away from SMILE members... However, he was never by the River... He happened to be here, because the building he'd been in before was by the River side. In all honesty, he hadn't actually been in a SMILE building, but never mind.
Seeing as he couldn't run much longer, Bam got to the edge of the pathway running down the side of the River and dived into the water. He went under the surface before coming back up, his hair sticking to his face, neck and forehead, and Bam looked up at the SMILE member that had been following him. The SMILE member then drew his ray gun and Bam swore under his breath.
A moment later, Bam was swimming as fast as he could away from the SMILE member. Water splashed up where the man following him kept on shooting at the water, hoping to hit Bam, and missing by literally inches.
Ducking under the water again, Bam felt a shot almost skim his ear and Bam swam under the water, now desperate to get away without being injured. This didn't go well, though, and he found the water turning slightly red where one of the shots had taken a small lump out of his leg.
Bam shot the SMILE member in the head, then threw his soggy ray gun onto the path on the opposite side to where he'd first been. He then dragged himself from the river then sat while gritting his teeth and yanking his jean leg up to see the lump that has been taken out of his leg and Bam swore again. He then saw someone out of the corner of his eye and Bam reached out for his gun and was ready to aim at the person.
