Melissa nodded to his question and touched her arm lightly. They entered the grubby, smelly bar together. Definitely not the place for a young adult and a woman. She was already on edge. "Remember, don't give your real name." She mumbled as she found a stool to sit on at the bar. Hoping Kuro was with her, she ordered a drink under a bullshit name and began listening in to conversations.
((I'll start the fight after your post.))

(Ayeaye,Cap'n!)
Kuro slid into the bar and, as the barkeep stared at him, sat down beside Melissa."Please dont give me the cliche 'I'll have a glass of milk', alright kid?" Kuro nodded."K, then, water, sir." A nearby drinker chuckled."Ehehehe, well, well, such pretty matters this kids got." Kuro gave him his patented baskilisk glare, and the drinker couched and turned around, oncentrating on his drink. Kuro saw a big, muscly man swaggering over to them, seemingly ignoring Kuro.

Melissa was in the middle of inspecting her drink when a rough, beastly voice sounded. A voice dirtier than the glass within which the drink she'd asked for resided. It sent rattles up her spine when she realised it was she whom was being addressed. Why.. She thought to herself, before turning on the squeaking red stool.
"You're in my seat," the stranger growled, towering over the small blonde woman. "I am?" Melissa replied, a strength in her voice she didn't realise she had. "Move." "Make me."
Before she could register what had happened, the blonde was dragged harshly out of her seat and to the floor with a painful thud. Her back hit the wooden floor first. Which hurt like a bitch, though she refused to let it show. Melissa, did, however, slam her arm into the floor. Her broken arm, causing serious tears to well in her eyes. Which she wiped away ferociously before anyone could see this.

Growling, Kuro got up."You shouldn;t have done that, mate." The man scoffed."Oh yeah? What you gonna do about it, ya little runt?!" Kuro started shuddering, his jaw practilly writhing in anger."Alright buddy, first you dump one of my freinds, and practically family, not to mention she has a broken arm, ouuta her seat, and after that, you have the idoicy of calling me a runt!?" Grabbing a couple of pool cues form the table, Kuro toosed one to the huge man."Arm yourself." Going up on the balls of his feet, Kuro strikes before the cue even touches the mans hands."Sssss death!!" Thackthackthackthackthack! Kuro lands the exact same combo that he had on the dummy in the practice room in the span of a second. After he landed the last blow, Kuro, swinging his stick under his arm like a swagger stick, turned his back mockingly on the huge man as he walked back to Mel to help her up. As the man caught his, he called out to Kuro,"Hey,you litle runt, why aint you gonna fight me?!" Kuro grinned, continuing on."Cause you're already unconuis." The big man snorted."What are ya-Ugh?!" Suddenly he callasped, knocked out and just barely breathing. Offering his hand to Mel, Kuro grinned."Sorry about that." "Hey, you cant do our buddy that way!" Kuro looked and saw four more men like the other coming in his direction. Grunting, Kuro swung into the ready stance.

Melissa smiled as she sat on the floor. Her heart emotionally melting to see that Kuro saw her as family. Well, just about. But there was no time to think of this. Of course, the young woman could have gotten up herself, but she had clearly underestimated Kuro's skill, as she was most mesmerized in watching him fight.
While he turned to help her up, she gratefully accepted his help and stood, grabbing a pool cue also. The scrawny woman felt she could also arm herself and fight with her friend. Instead of just letting him fight. She could at least cover him. Or so she hoped.
Standing a little way behind him, Melissa heard noises. Checking over her shoulder, she noticed that there were a couple more guys coming from behind the two also. "Alright mini-man. We've got some coming up the back too." She told him, then patted his shoulder and swiveled. Facing the large, grumpy looking men coming towards them she held her cue forward. Planning on smacking them as hard as she could before they came any closer.
"Heh..A child and a woman to fight. Easy~" Men were talking and mumbling various insults as Melissa decided to strike first. Whether it was immoral, rude or whatever else, she didn't care. Without getting much info, they couldn't be here long. SMILE could get called in, and Melissa didn't want Kuro getting taken away for associating with Rebels.
Feeling that anger, and some desperation, she hit one of the one comers in the side of the face, the harsh thwak of polished wood on skin sounded. With that fueling her, she hit again, and again.
"Look at them, trying to fight. They'll be on the floor in no time."

Kuro grinned, the baskilisk glare fueling his eye.Pointing his cue at some the men, yhe shouted."En gaurde!!" Darting foward, he preformed the same combo as the he had for the other man. As he walked away to help melina with her side, thy callasped.Pointing his cue at some others, he shouted,"feel the wolf's bite!!!" Running foward, he struck, mersilly hammerring them in their legs and heads, reducing them to piles on the floor.

Melissa watched as Kuro battered various men with a hatred she couldn't place. "Calm down, they're not SMILE." She mumbled, before finding her lifted from her feet. Someone had grabbed her, right off the floor. Crying out, Melissa kicked her legs and dropped the cue, only to hit and whack her hands at the thick, larger hands at the back of her shirt. Whoever this person was, he was a giant. Dangling uselessly, Melissa's collar began to tear, and cut into her throat. Only to an extent where she began to squirm and wriggle out her shirt as it ripped. Indecency over safety any day.
Eventually, Melissa was out of her shirt and was on the floor again. Where she brought her leg up, directly in between the large man's thighs. "No one does that to me!" She screamed, obviously having had a bad experience in the past, and bent quickly to pick up the cue, shatter it in half on a nearby surface and held it to the man's gut. "Either give me your shirt or get a new hole to pee out of!" Melissa demanded, then grabbed the shirt he offered to her. About a million sizes too big but still good enough for her to wear.
With a new, larger shirt hanging from her body, she glowered at the oncoming men. "Kuro, wanna help me out here?" She asked, definitely a different person when in the heat of a fight.

Kuro growled, battering men and dropping them like bad habits as he made his way to Melissa side. The men who were about to attack her backed away at seeing him charge his way through."W-what is that kid?!" "He's not human. No-one should be able to drop that many men so easily, espescially not a littl kid like him..." Kuro shouted.'Alllright! Listen up! I don't wanna have to stay in here all day, espessially with morons like you, so what you'll are gonna do is sit down, shut up, and listen to my freinds questions and answer them truthfully,is that clear?!" The men nodded mutely."Good! Now if anyone does so much as glare at her, I'll take that particular person and batter them so hard even their great-granddaddy feels it, got that!?" When they nodded again, Kuro turned to Melissa, grinning.'You got the floor, Mel. I'm gonna finish my water." He sat back down, seemingly not noticing the sticthing in his shin had broken loose.

Melissa blinked, perhaps stupidly. She felt pretty stupid too. "Er, thanks short-stop..Watch your leg." She coughed awkwardly, then looked at the men and few woman in the bar. None of them seemed to be glaring, just watching her with very little interest. Her chest tightened as a momentary daze of stage fright hit her. But she brushed it off, and attempted a sweet smile.
"Well, uhm, hi. I am a, er, person of curiosity and uhm..Yeah! I have some questions." Suddenly wishing she had written them down, she swallowed. "Righto, firstly does anyone know anything about SMILE's going ons?" She asked, looking around slowly. Only a few people nodded. "Alright, then I'm addressing you." She moved over to them and sat down.
"We heard that SMILE's opening up and closing some warehouses off to the public. Lots of stuff being stored, no one allowed in or out. Under any circumstances." People explained more and more to her, and Melissa continued to nod along. There were one or two begrudging answers, but with Kuro watching, she figured she'd be okay. "Oui, you could get in through the back, there's a broken window, but you could very well be caught. You'd need supplies."
With more and more answers coming her way, she nodded and took it all in. Finally thanking the men, she hurried back to Kuro with a satisfied smile.

"Quite well. Is your leg okay?" She then asked, careful not to sit in anyone's seat again. Melissa looked down at his leg and placed her hands on her hips. "Looks painful. Do you wanna stay in here or go outside?" Melissa questioned, rubbing the back of her neck quietly. The blonde felt bad for little Kuro, and patted his back softly.

"Hmm, we dont have any more use here, so we better go back to base."Wincing, Kuro gets up, tossing his cue back onto the pool table. When some of the more belligerent looking customers started getting up, Kuro opens his coat, showing his Lazer Blade and tapping it,making them set back down agian. Limping out the door, Kuro grins at Melissa.'Well, ya coming? We got a long walk back to HQ."

Once outside with Kuro, Melissa smiled to herself. Kuro had a sweet heart, from what she'd experienced so far. "So, you think of me like family, huh?" Melissa chortled, a small happy smile as she brought the shirt she demanded from the stranger tighter around her body. It was so loose that breezes were flying up her shirt, occasionally pushing it upwards.
"We might be able to find a decent car to get back to base. It'd be nicer on your leg, right?" Melissa smiled at her friend.

Melissa looked down at Kuro. "I meant a normal car, any more action and you may lose that leg." Melissa said seriously, though jokingly. She didn't mean it, but she did want him to feel some sort of seriousness towards the extent of damage that he had taken to his leg. She rubbed his back and and slid her way over to a decent looking car. Working the lock with a hairpin, she popped the door open. "We're thousands of years ahead since the making of these things, and we can still use hair clips to get in." Popping open the back, she waited for him as she sat in the driver's seat, hot wiring the vehicle. "Come along little one."

Kuro sighs, muttering,"Im not little....," as he climbs in."And I can't help it if I live like a Teen Titan." He makes a referance to a show practically older than dirt, and still running on its trillionish season."And you're right. Its crazy how easy these things are to 'brake' into."

Melissa grinned at the soft purr of the motor spurring into life. It was a healthy sound. "Don't worry, I don't drive like Bam.." That was kind of true, Melissa didn't drive as crazily as Bam did, she just drove as if she didn't know what she was doing. Which she didn't know..
Pressing her foot down sheepishly, the car spurted forward. Then again, and again. "Okay..wait, I've got it." She nodded, pushing her foot down, gripping the steering wheel and driving off. Scraping only a few cars as she went by.

Melissa smiled meekly, swerving around cars nervously as she bumped, scuffed and stalled. "Wanna not fall asleep on me?" She pleaded, heading down a hill that was only a little way away from the tunnels. Or at least, one of them. Rebels were like ants. They had places everywhere.
Screeching, then speeding along as if nothing had happened, Melissa chuckled somewhat, before turning the radio on. Full blast. Fuck yeah.
